Mental health festival OGLE

“Ogle” is a mental health support association and movement working towards a more open, informed, and supportive society where mental health can be discussed freely and without stigma. At the heart of the association is the belief that conversation, knowledge, support from others, and timely access to help can be important steps towards better well-being and a safer, more supportive society.

“Ogle” began in the summer of 2019 as a festival bringing together music, conversations about mental health, and the simple act of being together. Over time, the association has grown into a broader movement that organises various events, educational activities, and support initiatives throughout the year. The association focuses particularly on promoting mental health, suicide prevention, access to information, and raising public awareness and understanding.

On 11–12 September 2026, OGLE 2026 will take place at the Tallinas Street Quarter (Tallinas ielas kvartāls) in Riga – a two-day event inviting people to pay attention to their mental health, meet others, listen to honest and inspiring stories, gain new knowledge, and simply spend time together.

The festival is designed as an open and welcoming space where mental health can be discussed in a simple, human, and non-judgemental way. It is not only for those who are currently going through difficult times – OGLE also welcomes anyone who wants to better understand themselves, take care of their emotional well-being, and become more supportive of the people around them.

Over the two days, the festival will offer open conversations and personal stories, valuable insights from experts, an opportunity to learn more about the therapy process, activities and practical workshops that can help improve well-being, as well as information about organisations and initiatives working in the field of mental health. There will also be a chance to meet like-minded people, enjoy the festival atmosphere, and even get a tattoo.

OGLE aims to create an environment where even difficult topics can become the beginning of a conversation rather than a reason to stay silent.
Because sometimes one conversation, one encounter, or simply the feeling that you are not alone can be enough to start changing something.

See you at OGLE 2026 – 11–12 September at the Tallinas Street Quarter in Riga!
